I came across two of my old copies of Starwinds Howl, so I snapped a photo and added it to the site here.

The copy on the left is an original 1999 first edition - these were printed at a local copy shop, then offered for sale through ebay.

The copy on the right is one of the Cafe Press print-on-demand versions. These were discontinued when Cafe Press stopped offering books as a product.

Starwinds Howl is still available to read online for free at our official website; and the story is also included in Elliot's Luthor's Gift anthology.

"The bottom line involves choices.  Neither gods nor humans have ever stood calmly in a minefield forever.  Good or evil, they are bound to choose.  And when they do, you will see the truth of all that motivates us.  As a thinking being, you have the obligation to choose.  If the fate of all mankind were in your hands, what would your decision be?  As a writer and an artist, I've drawn my answer."   - Jack Kirby

Still have my first edition, and just pointed some newly-minted Maggin fans here to read the online version.  Big year for Krypto!
