B for Boltinoff, I know.  But if Bat-Boy ever appeared in a DC comic, it would have been edited by Murray.  And written by Bob Haney, no doubt.

Maybe Earth-BB, named for both Bat-Boy and BB-Eyes, the Dick Tracy villain!

The idea of bringing back Earth-2 Robin being a bad idea notwithstanding, I don't particularly care for his grown-up costume, but it's a far cry better than his attempt to mix Batman's costume (and chest symbol) with his Robin cape (and chest symbol).

As you may know, E-2 Robin's costume (as shown on the action figure above) was designed by Neal Adams back in the mid-70s as a possible replacement for (Earth-1) Dick Grayson's bare-legged look.  Even then the marketing department was becoming a force to be reckoned with, however, and no doubt thinking of all those Mego dolls, sheet sets and SuperFriends lunchboxes on the shelves, DC opted to keep poor Dick in his officially licensed shortpants well into his 20s. Embarrassed

Earth-2 Robin inherited his outfit, instead.  Which was okay because his first suit was, as noted above, pretty much an eyesore.

Anyway, I never could get used to a gray-haired Robin in that Adams outfit, as it was obviously intended for a more youthful character.

speaking of "the costume looking too young for the character" did anyone read "the autobiography of Bruce Wayne"? the reason i bring this up because despite the fac that it was set in 1955 Robin still looked about 10... i figure he would have been about 25 by then... and too old for short pants (those pants and hairy legs.. ick)

That Neal Adams design is one of the best looking Robin supersuits, I also really like the current look, which is really great.
