Valentine's: Fave Legion Romances

I've always liked the Kara/Brainy romance --Brainiac 5 was a perfect boyfriend for Supergirl --the boy from the future was a perfect compliment to the "Boyfriend Gallery" including the merboy and the centaur.  Also the romance that started off on the wrong foot, with Supergirl distrusting the "ancestor" of her archnemesis.

Many Legion romances seemed arbitrary --why did one Legionaire hook up with another and not someone else?  Hard to explain for most of them.

That and the ongoing saga of Garth Rand and Irma Ardeen - now there's a couple who triumphed over adversity and in fact gave their lives fopr one another - literally.

Im talking Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl.  He died to save her from Zaryan's freeze rays and she would've sacrificed herself to restore him to life if it hadn't been for some protoplasmic intervention.

Then he loses his arm and they still stay together!  Then he gets it back!  True love!

And yeah, Telle, Kara and Brainy made a lot more sense than Kara and Jerro or Kara and Dick.
