I just read somewhere on this site that there is a new supergirl movie in the works and that Alicia Silverstone is being considered for the part.  I HATED Alicia as Batgirl and I would not be able to stomach seeing her as Supergirl!  She was just great in Clueless, but it seems thats the only character she knows how to play.  Is that the kind of Supergirl you want?  I'd love to hear some good sugestions for Supergirl and discussions on the topic!  Maybe a poll could be run once there are some suggestions. :9:

This may sound crazy at first, but give it a chance:

Allison Mack.

Cool

That's not crazy.  I could really see her in the cute 70's costume with the little shorts!  Especially if one was going for a true Supergirl, as apposed the the very womanly Helen Slater.  Don't get me wrong I loved Helen Slater.   Cheesy

Alica Silverstone??
  Don't think so maybe Superwoman
after all the character may have to pull off three roles instead of one Supergirl' Linda and kara of kandor also more in fitting with a young collegegirl.
would suiggest Sarah Michelle Gellar as she has already shown belivabilty in her role as the Slayer though not keen whether she can pull off Linda or Kara as her part as slayer she had no alter ego and not familiar with any other roles and yet young enough to puul off a college student as well

actually, it's one of my goals to play supergirl. really, I'm an actor. I got it into my head that I would really like to play her, and THEN I read that they were thinking of doing a supergirl project. it was pretty great.

so my first choice would be, umm, me.

Why should you play Supergirl? What can you bring to the role?

Why should you be chosen over Alicia Silverstone, Allison Mack, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Reese Witherspoon?
