Mattel started their Batman toyline with an amazing attention to detail and nice modern look to Batman and Co. I bought the 2 pack to get my hands on that awesome Superman figure that is compatible with this line.

However, I must ask, since the multitude of Batman figures is now rotting on the shelves, would a DC line have been better to produce? That seems like competition to DC direct, but is it really?

A Mass Market line centered around the Comic version of the JLA, not unlike Super Powers, but featuring the size and articulation of the Batman line. I think it would be hard to find these figures as readily as I can find an Arctic Batman.

What do you think?

actually the Superpowers Batman was one of my favorite Batman figures ever.

DC direct is cool and all, but they are not affordable at all.
