Hello,

My idea of Superboy is Superman at a young age.  That would be the sa or ga.  I find that it's ok in comics - not great but real fun.
When it comes to movies or cartoons, it's a real stinker.  Shuster and Siegel's version is the best.  I think that this is one of the reason's why I like Smallville.  It's also why I think Superman is great.  All these young years he had his powers, he never used them for gain.  He spended most of these years on studying (the human condition with his parents).  Smallville offers exactly that.  You can extrapolate why he's such a "good" Superman later on.  That it's not only flight and tight that make the super in the man.

Superboy rocks! The Golden age, Sliver Age, Earth-Prime, Superman: The Movie and Smallville are all great. I don't like any of the non Clark Kent Superboys, sorry.
