First topic of the Supergirl section. Whats your favorite Supergirl Costume? Mine would be the 1980's headband one.

I always like the orginial Supergirl costume but the shorts of the early 70's was very cool also.

Ric-El, I second the head-band costume.  That one is my favorite as well.

I've got a small run-down of some of her costumes at https://www.supermanthroughtheages.com/supergirl/costumes/ but the one that lastkryptonianhere mentions isn't shown.  So here it is:

There are a lot more costumes - I remember when she changed her costume a few times every issue, and people sent in their own suggestions and designs!  That was great fun and the comic was more like a teen fashion mag.

Gotta be the 70s look with the hotpants and plunging V-neck. This is the look Kara had when I first encountered her, and it was love at first sight.

I have to confess Babs "Batgirl" Gordon soon replaced her as my favorite comic book hottie, but I'll always love Kara in that get-up.

The head-band?  Please! That outfit was one of the most trend-dependent in all of comics...it's, like, so 1983.  She looked like she was heading out for a Bangles concert, or better yet a night at the disco with "Vibe" from the JLA.
