What are Superman's code of ethics? Can he have sex with a mortal? I thought he gave up his powers in one episode to have sex with Lois. Doesn't this interfere with human history? Doesn't anyone in here know anything about Superman??

He may have sex with a mortal, but if he does, he must always use a special "code word" to refer to it, which is different for each woman.  For Lois, the code word is "Beef Bourguingnon".  For Lana, the code word is "Beef Wellington".

The "episode" you mention is the film Superman II, which doesn't really count as the films are a separate continuity.

The films are also where we get the notion of "not interfering with human history," which incidentally is monumentally stupid. Jor-El doesn't have any problem with Superman using his powers to help others, but he does create this arbitrary and ill-defined ban on messing with "history," which is contradictory.  Every life Superman saves from a tsunami, earthquake, plane crash, house fire, traffic accident or meteor strike is a life that would have been lost had he not been around.  Therefore his entire reason for being is to "interfere with human history."

What Jor-El really means is "it is forbidden for you to change the past," but that would have been giving away the ending, which is lame enough already.

Sex only interferes with human history if you're doing it right.
