I just stumbled across this two-part list of some of the more amusing varieties of Kryptonite:

http://sayitbackwards.blogspot.com/2007/06/k-metal-from-krypton-part-1.html
http://sayitbackwards.blogspot.com/2007/06/k-metal-from-krypton-part-2.html

The author promises that part 3 should be up in a couple of days.

There was a story with Jimmy Olsen and silver kryptonite. Any idea what that did?

Did the author say which couple of days that would be?

Silver Kryptonite , as stated in the attached Wikipedia link, was a hoax created for Superman's 25th anniversary, as well as appearing in Smallville differently:

I had to laugh when I saw the Slow Kryptonite entry in the other link...years back, my father was on slow release potassium, and the naem of it was Slow-K, and I asked him if it was Kryptonite, and he said, yeah right

A slow release Kryptonite drug would be a great Lex Luthor invention...

Black Kryptonite makes so much sense, I am surprised they haven't come up with it earlier.
