What if together Batman also Superman had his TV show in 1966? Imagined a new show in color,with more advanced special effects than 50s TV series in pure Batman 60s camp style! For the role of Superman Bob Holiday (that in 66 played the role to Brodway).

here's a sample of lyrics that I recall;

From another planet
Muscles made of granite
x-ray eyes and super brainnnnn

Is it a bird ?
NO!
Is it a plane ?
NO!
What is it?

It's Soooooooooooooooooo-per man !

My mistake...while I do have an LP with superman songs on it, the song I quoted was from a company called Golden Records and it had this Superman song and also the Batman theme

I think that same song was used for the opening and closing credits on the "Origins of a Superhero" CD.

I'd really love to see the Superman musical one day; maybe we should form an amateur theatrical group and put it on? In the meantime, I've tried to contact Jules Feiffer concerning his one-act Superman play, but no joy.
