Added to the "birthday present" queue.  Smiley

I bought this volume for *my* birthday (as my personal birthday present) a few weeks ago. :-)

Generally, if I really want something, I tend to just go out and get it.  It doesn't occur to me not to.  I don't generally want a lot of things, either.  So, when family and friends ask "what do you want for your birthday", I'm at a loss unless I hold back on acquisitions over the course of the year.  Over the decades, my mom has figured out that I'll bite on most anything "Superman", and she tries hard and means well.  But she gets me Super-crap unless I specify otherwise.  About the only good Superman gift I got spontaneously is a Superman candy jar that is hard for adult-sized hands to fit into, which only turns out to be a virtue when trying to lose a little weight.  Smiley
