werid... i used to live in UK and you could find lots of superman stuff if you knew where to look (comic book stores and any graphic novel section in a bookstore) but whatever

Like crispy snax, I never have any trouble locating comics here, but then I live in London, where there are several comic stores: Forbidden Planet, Pow! and the beautifully-named They Walk Among Us to name but a few. I imagine these comics, which are available at ordinary newsstands, are intended for a nationwide and perhaps more casual audience.

I think one of Busiek's arcs would have been a better move.

But at least they get Grant Morrison.

Yup, and Alan Moore, Garth Ennis and pretty much anyone who's ever written Hellblazer. It would be pretty good if DC commissioned a Superman title produced only by British people.
