My take is that the artist, an extreme leftist, is just as bad as those on the extreme right who believe in their own propaganda.

Moreover, the use of Superman as a national symbol is rather ignorant. Superman, while based in the United States, has always saved the world and the people in it reguardless of their beliefs.
