Hi,

Can anybody point me out to the issue(s) where Superman is split into two Supermen (NOT the Red/Blue Supermen) - each having only a few of the original powers? I remember the split occured due to a three-way feud between Superman and some Kryptonian villains and Superman was literally torn apart into two. The story ends with Superman in a space ship navigating through a metorite field and regaining his powers after crashing into one of them.

The ONLY tale I can think of that comes close to yours is a 1982 serial in Action Comics.  Lord Satanus and Blaze split Superman into 2 beings, each with only a few of the original's powers.

I can think of a SuperBOY story where Superboy was split in half---one of which had invulnerability and the sensory powers, the other having super-strength and flying, but none of the other powers.  Came out mid-sixties, Crt Swan cover,. George Papp drew the story.---Al

Think again.
