Linda's back... but for how long?  I'm worried that in Issue #25 DC will "tie up loose ends" and make sure the new Kara Zor-El is THE "One True Supergirl".

We know Power Girl is safe, but the "Many Happy Returns" Kara went back to her home time (and died in the Crisis) while Cir-El "erased herself" in Superman #200.  So that leaves Linda, who gave up her "S" in Supergirl #80 and dropped out of sight.  So will Superman/Batman #25 be "Many UNhappy Returns" for Linda?

However, notice that all these Supergirls appeared via Boom Tube.  Perhaps both Linda and Kara I were plucked from some time during the "Many Happy Returns" arc, and Cir-El pre-Superman #200.  I'm a bit worried over who's REALLY behind this Supergirl convention... Metron, perhaps?

The Supergirl continuity is confusing, at best.  Due to DC's wanting to introduce different versions to find what they felt was the "right" one.

Linda will never ever be Supergirl again, read that Crisis update in that other thread.

The current version of Supergirl is a hit with today's fans so DC will stay with her for the time being.

Yeah, I kind of feel like I am up to speed on the various iterations, at least in names and backgrounds...if the idea was to use a "cannon" to fire Supergirls and see which "stuck", boy that seems more confusing than "infinite" Earths ever was...

I always liked Linda, so I hope to see her as a guest star sometimes.

i think so too...i'm not really an expert on the Supergirls...but the only thing that worries me about it is how did Linda get back?..WTF is CIR-EL doing popping up in the series if she sacrificed herself..plus what costume is Linda wearing now?...does anyone have a pic of it yet?..and didn't she "Retire" being Supergirl already?...oh and....Since were talking about the Boom Tubes...did all the Supergirls minds get erased or something?!...b/c they author only says the Supergirls came out of a Boom tube..no explination on how they got there or why....that part's a mystery to me...
