Season Two of Lois and Clark is now on sale.

Available here.

I've heard there's an episode that involves H.G. Wells and time travel in this season.  Anyone know anything about it?  Any good?

I remember that one.  HG Welles was played by Terry Kiser, most famous for playing the titular corpse in "Weekend at Bernie's."  I forget the particulars, but he was either pursuing, or being pursued by, a time-travelling bad-guy named Tempus Fugit, played by Lane Davies, veteran slimeball of multiple soap operas.

This was actually a very good episode if memory serves (it didn't hurt that it featured some of the same plot gimmicks as a favorite SF film of mine, "Time After Time"), and the Fugit character became a fan favorite who came back another four times, making him analogous in some ways to Star Trek:TNG's "Q" character.

Still not enough to justify buying a series that also includes "heavies" like Bronson Pinchot and Raquel Welch.  And the future will only bring us Shelly Long, Delta Burke and Sherman Hemsley.

Next up: Bambi vs. Godzilla.
