No. I don't mean Doomsday.

The evil Superman-lookalike had his ears hurt by Jimmy Olsen's signal watch .

For some reason, the evil-Supes allowed himself to be buried alive and then a super powered gopher dug into the casket and since his weakness was other super-powered objects, he lost power and died of asphyxiation.
