Long time lurker, first time poster.  I did this a long time ago, and with the exception of a Boy Commandos cover recreation haven't painted since!  I currently ink for Big Bang Comics, a retro-style  Image book where I am currently pitching some very Curt Swan style cover ideas.  It's acrylic on canvas board, expandable by clicking.  What do you think?

It looks a lot like Steranko, LOL!

Pretty cool, you should paint more. Cool

Fantastic painting, thanks very much for posting it!

Do you mind if I add it to our gallery section?

That's a beautiful painting!  I just saved it, too!

I didn't KNOW Big Bang Comics were still being done.  I'll have to hunt down some back issues!

For those who may not know, Bob's painting is an homage to Steranko's illustration from Superman #400.

Also, be sure to check out Bob's inking and coloring work on our ongoing K-Metal project.
