Okay, though I have not and probably won't buy the book, I have seen the concept pics at the end of the superman/batman book.  I saw several there that I think would have worked better than what Turner finally decided on.

Anyone else have opinions?

I like the way Turner drew Supergirl actually.

Can't give an opinion since I've not seen the concepts. Anyone care to scan and post a few images?

The costumes were OK-but not as good as the costume featured in the story itself.

I'll see what I can do when I get home from work in the morning.  I don't have very good scans but I can post what I have.

Sorry it took so long.

here are the concept pics

Actually, I have to say that the concept I like best is the one developed by an artist named Zio....The one I used for the twins in my Fan-fiction:

(another version of Carrie, drawn for me by Tom Burgos, can be found in the Superman Through the Ages Supergirl Wallpapers)

What do you all think?

That last one makes her look like one of the X-men circa Jim Lee.

The bottom row of costumes in the first pic makes me wonder where is the magic lamp.

Supergirl: The Genie.

That last one would be good for a 30th Century Supergirl.  Legion of Super-Heroes costume.
