I noticed that one some of the entries I wrote entries for that when the Fleisher text was added my overwviews got scrapped (which is not a problem)

But my thinking was for those folks that are first timers, or kids that a quick simple, overview might suffice for introductions to the larger more thorough Fleischer or post 64 TGSB entries.

And since we are adding to existing copywrihten text and amending as
needed,  that quick capsule summaries are might be fine for those who want to jump around entries in The Supermanica  and scroll for the full TGSB entry as needed for pureient research or fun..

Anyway - that's just me.

What do our other S! co-contributors/editors think?

I think overviews are a good idea, but I also thought that the Fleisher entries already had them.  Usually it's always the first paragraph.  Which articles were you noticing?

I'm not a stickler one way or the other, but while I like overviews as place holders once a complete article is in place I'd just as soon see the overview removed.

Though I'd personally be hesitant to erase someone elses overview. I might do it if it seemed redundent. I'll probably be deleting my own overviews if I replace them with complete entries though.
