Just learned about this -- copied verbatim from http://www.pasadenahistory.org/ (emphasis added):

3rd Annual WALK THROUGH TIME - Channeling Hollywood: The Vamp, the Impresario, Superman and More...

Saturday & Sunday, November 3 & 4*; Performances at 11 am, 1 & 3 pm
Mountain View Mausoleum, 2300 N. Marengo Ave., Altadena

She was known as the girl "too beautiful to be alone in the big city."  Silent-screen star Barbara La Marr (1896-1926) sizzled as the vamp on film, lived with reckless abandon, and died tragically in the Altadena hills at age 29.  Over 40,000 mourners reportedly attended her funeral.  On Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd and 4th, the stunning Miss La Marr returns to Altadena as hostess to a flamboyant group of long-deceased stage-and-screen stars: George Reeves, the first TV Superman; Earl D. Biggers, the mystery novelist who created the fictional Chinese detective Charlie Chan; Gilmore Brown, founder and creative force behind the Pasadena Playhouse; and prolific actress Maudie Prickett.  The dramatic portrayals, presented in partnership with The Pasadena Playhouse, will take place within the exquisitely otherworldly setting of Mountain View Mausoleum's majestic stairways backlit by luminous stained glass windows, intricate baroque carvings, and ornate paintings.

Courtyard reception following each performance.

Tickets: $20 Museum members and Playhouse subscribers; $25 general

Reservations: 626- 794-7133 (daily, 8:00 am-5:00 pm)

*Please remember that Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 am on November 4

And here I was thinking that the Batman Beyond incarnation of Superman was making an appearance somewhere.  Smiley

Anyone have a head shot of who's gonna play George Reeves?

Now there's an unfortunate turn of phrase.

Doh!  That was unintentional, to say the least.
