I can't believe nobody here is talking about the official poster for the film, revealed earlier this week.

This will be the first movie poster I've spent money on since...well, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989.

A fantastic poster.  I also think it's great that they keep listening to the fans...  Cool

You know what I bet Superman is thinking?

"Wonder what happens if I drop a penny from up here..."

Is it just me, or does the poster give a distinct MIRACLEMAN vibe? He's this physically perfect guy just floating above thte earth in a John Totleben-esque weightless position. One wonders if Superman just threw Doctor Gargunza or wrestled himself on the Moon or something.

I definitely see what you mean. It's almost like he's a god listening to all the cries (prayers?) of the people he protects. I'm a big fan of images like that.

Many people want others to accept their opinions as fact. If enough people accept them as fact then it gives the initial person or persons a feeling of power. This is why people will constantly talk about something they hate—they want others to feel the same way. It matters to them that others perceive things the same way that they do.
