I like Superman/Batman. I just wish all these once decent villians didn't get casually defeated ruining them as major threats later. I'm thinking paticularly of Mongul, Grundy and Darkseid.  I wish the whole Darkseid showing up on earth and Supergirl "vaporization" had never happened.

I don't know. Disappearing the new Earth-whatever Kara was unnecessary, because we knew they weren't going to kill her. But Darkseid highlighted the fact that Batman and Supeman are opposites that complement each other- the whole episode showed Batman's dark side.

Not the best Superman story maybe...but it Batman vs. Darkseid was creative IMO.
