Omg yes this issue is great! Linda goes into  the silver-age to live out Kara's life where Kara stays in the current DCU.  I do have alot of questions that need anwsering and hopefully the next issue will bring them. Kal ends up falling in love with Linda and they end up getting married and have a child named Ariella. I enjoyed the Pink Kryptonite part it was funny. I think Linda has always had an attraction to Kal and now that he's had interest in her in this new world she learned to love him back in a different way. I was also blown away by the Supertot Ariella! I wonder how she'll play out in the future events of the story. Also Linda is all grown up now...shes Superwoman....adn you know what that means...if Linda doesn't die she'll go back to her universe and be Superwoman with the new Cir-El as Supergirl, or Kara will not die and return to our world as Supergirl.

Either way, it's pretty cool.

There was a lot about this issue that I liked, Linda's experiences in the alternate universe were great.  I'm very impressed with what Peter David has done here.  I've been a long time critic of his writing on Supergirl, but he's managed to take what started as a blob of protoplasm, and create a living, breathing character that I care about.  And this one issue gives Linda an incredible amount of depth and (positive) experience.

I also liked seeing a young, inexperienced Kara talk down Rebel.  That was fun.

It kind of shows that, in some ways, the universe makes the character.  Both Linda and Kara grew in very different directions from where they used to be while each in their different universes.

I really like Linda's (Superwoman's?) new costume, too.  The white top reminds me a bit of Power Girl.  I hope that Ariella survives the looming crisis, and I wonder if there's any connection between her and Cir-El.

But boy, talk about a misleading cover!  Especially when it will most likely be Kara who dies...  Cool

I liked reading a modern reinterpretation of the Silver Age Superman.  (For the most part - "pink kryptonite?"  Yeesh..)   I hope that we'll see more of him.  I'd really like to read more about Linda, Kal-El, and Ariella!  Eight years is a long time and we didn't see much of it.

Yeah they should release a mini on their life in the silver-age.
