FYI
News item that strangely connects several Superman alumni with Robert Blake and the so-called "Our Gang Curse":

Coincidently, Tommy Bond (born 1927), who played "Butch" in the Our Gang series in the 1930s, was also the the first actor to portray Jimmy Olsen in a live action role - the two Superman serials in the late 1940s.

He was not mentioned in the article, because he is still alive.

The article omitted to mention that one of the original "Little Rascals" (as they were known originally) - but whose name I can't remember (might have been Smith?) - was murdered by someone he thought was a friend, at the age of 87, in 2002, if I recall correctly from a documentary I saw.
