I visited the above link and discovered that the buyers of it often bought another book as well - this one by Edmund Hamilton and Curt Swan. It seems to be a graphic novel collection of classic Kandor comics and is currently shipping. I must have missed the announcement for this one, I wonder which stories are in it: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1401214657/theamalgamatronA/

"The bottom line involves choices. Neither gods nor humans have ever stood calmly in a minefield forever. Good or evil, they are bound to choose. And when they do, you will see the truth of all that motivates us. As a thinking being, you have the obligation to choose. If the fate of all mankind were in your hands, what would your decision be? As a writer and an artist, I've drawn my answer." - Jack Kirby

Yes, that trade paperback was released a week or so ago...here's what I found:
"Don't miss this Silver Age collection of the best of the Kandor stories, in which Superman and Jimmy Olsen shrink down to battle as Kandor's own costumed heroes, Nightwing and Flamebird!
Collects stories from Action Comics #242 and #245, Superman #158 and #338, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #53 and #69, World's Finest Comics #143, Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #21, #76 and #78 and Superman Family #194."

Let my people grow??? hahahaha, thats terrible I think it's a great move. Looks like the collection does an excellent job of covering the entire saga of Kandor, from beginning to end. Kudos to whomever chose these tales.

When DC comes out with these collected superman books they always put a "modern age" superman story which always stinks (daily planet, superman vs lex luthor) you realize just how poorly those post-crisis stories aged and how hard it is to read a single issue from that time period.
These kandorian stories look pretty good and thankfully their really wasn't a post-crisis kandor (well not really anyways) that can be shoe horned into this collection.
Now how about Superman: Phantom Zone Phun!. a collection of supes adventures with the phantom zone (or even better a tpb of steve gerbers phantom zone stories)
