Q: With Richard Donner on Action, will we see a General Zod like the one from Superman II?

Busiek: Yes.

Terence Stamp isn't a bad actor, but I didn't like his Zod. I imagine Zod as a tough, strong man, and Stamp wasn't. Add to this the fact that in the Italian edition his voice was the same of Montgomery Burns from the Simpsons...
I'd like to see again the last Zod, the one appeared in "For tomorrow". He vaguely seems Terence Stamp, but with a more awful look.

Stamp's Zod marched to the beat of two different drummers with Donner and Lester, and came across much better than Kidder's Lois.

Until the movie, Zod always struck me as being defined by a police hat and a title, fairly generic compared to the likes of Jax-Ur and Faora.
