That's almost too much to be true (the shredded cape is the tip-off that it's got to be a joke); but I wouldn't be surprised, either.

I don't understand. Why is the shredd cape a tip off that it's a joke? (I don't remember a lot of the details for Superboy Prime. That was just a Halloween costume or something, wasn't it?)

i don't think the cape and the S logo will be there in the final version.

I had seen that on the DC Direct site, but didn't notice until reading your post that the "S" doesn't look like it was actually a part of the figure. It does look like it was added to the pic. That's odd.
