The K-METAL from KRYPTON TRILOGY - Part Two: The SECRET of the K-METAL!

THE BANNERS

Above is the first banner, used for the scraps of original artwork and script excerpts that I had collected on the Superman Through the Ages! website in early 2003 before the restoration project was conceived. At that point it was just a "recovery" project, with the goal of recovering all of the original pages and/or the story script.

The K-Metal from Krypton restoration was presented one page at a time, beginning in late 2003 and continuing through until 2025. Below are the various banners that ran on Superman Through the Ages!, beginning with the countdown to the story announcement; then one promoting each of the then-latest pages as they were released:

With page seven, the coloring chores changed hands,
resulting in a much more traditional comic book appearance
which can be seen in the banners below. Eventually,
all of the pages above were recolored in this newer,
old-fashioned style.

At this point, some of the earler pages had been recolored -
here is a banner based on the recolored version of page 2:

For page 17, I made two banners:

Page 18 was the first page to have "genuine comic book appearance"
effects added. These were also seen in the banner below.
The same effects were then added to all of the other pages.
