Superboy II

This article is about "the kid," a genetic construct of "The Project."  The term "Superboy" can also refer to the young Clark Kent (aka "Superman when he was a boy");  and to Bill Aronis, the real-world winner of the 1940 World's Fair Superboy Contest.

A genetically constructed being, created by "The Project" during the time of Superman's death.  He is one of a handful of "replacement Supermen" that patrolled Metropolis and the world prior to the Man of Steel's return.

Initially resistant to the name, "Superboy" later learned to embrace it once it had been granted to him by Superman.
