The adaptation is based on the original script of the film. It includes many scenes that were cut from the film. At least some of these scenes will be on the upcoming DVD. But it appears that these will not be edited into the body of the film. With the DVD's release there will be many questions about the placement of these scenes. So I think it would be helpful for many if the Comic Adaptation could be added to this site. Of course I already have it myself, so it is more a request for other fans

The Superman IV: The Quest for Peace comic-book adaptation is one of the few remaining stories on my short list of comics that I still plan to add to the site.

But everytime I pull out the issue and read through it, I'm pretty disappointed with the artwork and find it to be an incredibly long story.  Then I have difficulty figuring out just what it adds to the legend, but then I realize what it adds, but then I wonder if I really want to make readers go through all those pages to find the nuggets.

So then I put it back and do another 2965 installment instead.

But it'll be here.

I'd suggest Superman: Peace On Earth

It's the story Superman IV would've wanted to be, I think.

I've never seen it, so I can't say.
