Title: Zod Returns Post by: Michel Weisnor on September 10, 2006, 07:50:51 PM Q: With Richard Donner on Action, will we see a General Zod like the one from Superman II?
Busiek: Yes. http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=83523 Title: Re: Zod Returns Post by: Uncle Mxy on September 14, 2006, 05:58:07 PM Zod's been around all along:

I imagine Zod as a tough, strong man, and Stamp wasn't. Add to this the fact that in the Italian edition his voice was the same of Montgomery Burns from the Simpsons...
I'd like to see again the last Zod, the one appeared in "For tomorrow". He vaguely seems Terence Stamp, but with a more awful look. Title: Re: Zod Returns Post by: Uncle Mxy on September 17, 2006, 04:08:35 PM Stamp's Zod marched to the beat of two different drummers with Donner and Lester, and came across much better than Kidder's Lois.
Until the movie, Zod always struck me as being defined by a police hat and a title, fairly generic compared to the likes of Jax-Ur and Faora. |
